Made to Order — Production Lead Time All hats are individually handcrafted to order. Please allow 6–10 weeks from the date of your order for your hat to be made before dispatch. You will receive an email confirmation when your order enters production and again when it is ready to be dispatched.
This lead time is separate from the delivery times listed below, which apply once your hat has been completed and dispatched.
Where We Ship B.H-Jones Hatmaker ships to the United Kingdom and selected countries worldwide. We are currently unable to accept orders from or ship to European Union member states. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and hope to extend our reach in the future.
UK Delivery We aim to dispatch all orders within 2–3 working days of completion. Delivery times within the UK are typically:
- Standard delivery: 3–5 working days
- Express delivery: 1–2 working days (where available)
Delivery times are estimates and may vary during busy periods or due to circumstances beyond our control.
International Delivery (Outside the EU) International orders are dispatched within 2–3 working days of completion. Delivery times vary by destination but are typically 7–21 working days.
All international orders are shipped on a Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis. Any applicable import duties, customs taxes, and clearance fees are the responsibility of the recipient and are payable upon arrival. We ensure all customs documentation is completed accurately to make the clearance process as straightforward as possible.
Canadian customers should be aware that import duties and taxes are likely to apply to orders shipped to Canada, as most orders will exceed the CAD $150 de minimis threshold. We recommend checking with the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) or your local customs authority for an estimate of charges before placing your order.
We are in the early stages of offering international shipping and are continually refining our rates and services. We appreciate your patience as we develop our international offering — if you have any questions about shipping to your country before placing an order, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Please note that international parcels may occasionally be held by customs authorities for inspection. This is outside our control and we are unable to accept responsibility for any delays caused by customs processing. We will always ensure your parcel is accompanied by accurate and complete customs documentation to minimise the likelihood of delays.
Shipping Costs Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and chosen shipping method.
Order Tracking All orders are dispatched using a tracked service. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to follow your parcel's progress.
Lost or Damaged Items All orders are shipped with insurance cover. If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive within the expected timeframe, please contact us at info@bh-joneshatmaker.com as soon as possible. In the event of damage, please retain all original packaging and provide photographs — these will be required to support any carrier claim. Where a replacement is needed, it will be made and dispatched upon successful completion of the claims process.
