Gambler

These are our Telescoped crown "Gambler" designs, crafted from 100% rabbit fur felt.

All Gambler designs are a standard brim size of 9cm. The brim is finished flat as standard — a clean, structured edge that suits the Gambler's low, architectural silhouette. A Pencil Curl finish is available as an optional upgrade: a refined edge shaped by hand using heat and steam, lending the brim a tailored, classic profile.

A telescoped crown features a recessed flat top set inside the outer crown wall, creating a stepped profile reminiscent of the sliding sections of a traditional telescope — the origin of the term "telescoped." Commonly seen on classic Gambler hat and Pork pie hat styles, the shape gives the hat its distinctive low, structured silhouette.

Brim Style Option: The Gambler can be requested with a "Dropped" or "Waterfall" Front combined with a "Turned-down Back" — a characterful alternative to the straight flat brim — the dropped front and turned-down back lending the hat a softer, more rakish profile. If you would like this brim style, please specify it in the order notes at checkout.

All Flagship designs come with a chestnut calves leather sweatband.

Every hat is made to order, with a current lead time of 6–10 weeks.

We offer a curated selection of felt colours, though availability may vary. If your chosen colour is unavailable, we'll let you know as soon as possible — and if you have a colour in mind that isn't listed, please get in touch, as we may be able to source it.

Please note: If you select the Brim Binding option, the binding ribbon will be in the same colour as your hat band. The binding is only available in the listed felt colours (e.g. Black, Chocolate, Mink). If you'd prefer a different colour from those listed, please specify this in the order notes at checkout.

Brim Finishing: The Brim Binding finish is completed entirely by hand — a process that takes considerable time and skill. The small additional charge reflects that craft. It's a detail that elevates the hat, and one we're proud to offer.
