B.H-Jones Hat Maker offers two types of products — made-to-order hats and ready-to-wear one-of-a-kind pieces. The terms below apply depending on which type you have purchased.

Made-to-Order Hats

Each made-to-order hat is crafted specifically for you. As such, these items are exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period under UK consumer law. All made-to-order sales are final — we do not offer returns, refunds, exchanges, or cancellations.

Please allow 6–10 weeks from the date of your order for production before dispatch. I work to a limited order capacity — when all production slots are filled, the shop will temporarily pause and no new orders will be accepted until capacity becomes available again. By placing an order, you confirm you have read and accepted these terms.

Please take care when selecting your size and fit. If you are unsure, contact us before ordering and we will gladly advise. If you believe you have made an error, get in touch as soon as possible — amendments may be possible in the early stages, but cannot be made once production has begun.

If we make an error with your order, we will correct it at no cost to you. Alterations required due to an incorrect size, fit, or style selected by the customer will incur a charge.

Ready-to-Wear One-of-a-Kind Pieces

For ready-to-wear items, you have the right to return your purchase within 14 days of receiving it, in accordance with UK consumer law. Items must be returned in their original, unworn condition with all packaging intact. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrives faulty or not as described.

To initiate a return, please contact us at info@bh-joneshatmaker.com within 14 days of delivery. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

Faulty or Damaged Items

Regardless of product type, if your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us immediately with photographs and we will resolve the matter promptly.

Your statutory rights under UK consumer law are not affected by these terms.
